VINTAGE JAIL VIDEO PROP

Fairly massive ‘1800’s jail’ I made as a realistic music video prop. Currently looking for a bar or restaurant which might like to use it — perfect for inebriated mug shots and selfies!

To harvest the wood, I had to conquer my fear of heights and climb 2.5 stories high on a rickety old ladder — above piles of broken boards (with long rusting nails) — to somehow delicately pry each piece off the barn’s facade. On a tremendously hot and humid day in Ames, Iowa to boot.

{sigh} Hate to get rid of it, but can’t store it — would love to see it in a cool establishment, where it can be appreciated, and I might visit it…

    1. Wow, Linda, an escape room sounds intriguing. I so appreciate your interest, but I’m hoping to keep this ‘jail’ somewhere near me, in Iowa. I would LOVE to see photos of your escape room!
