SOLIFUGAE (WIND SCORPION)
Super fast and hard to photograph, this arachnid sports sophisticated eyes, powerful jaws, and preys on spiders and most everything else. Never-mind that it looks a bit like Bugs Bunny.

This particular individual would NOT stop moving during my 2008 photography session; it was ‘rescued’ from the house and released in the backyard. Tucson, Arizona
